    - Absolutely free community bulletin board, with tons of listings for apartments and roommates.
  •  Metro Rent
    - Listing service, also gives access to detailed info. They also have a 'premium' service for landlords, and some listings include photo tours. $45 for $45 days.
  •  SF4Rent
    - Listing service for apartments and roommates. Not as many lisitings as the others, but only $20 for 90 days.
  •  SF Chronicle
    - Free listings, although some of the listings are owned by FastRental.
  •  Rental Guide
    - Online version of Rental Guide magazine. Free to search lisitngs, but many listings are for the big complexes.
